Father's Day 2010 High Tech

Today I am so very grateful for my truly incredible husband, Jeff. I love him so much! He is so patient and forgiving to me. I can honestly say that he carries 50% of the household chores-what man does that? Isn't that among the number one complaints of women? Well Jeff actually does help out around the house. He is a wonderful father to our 4 beautiful children who can't get enough of him. He is pationate and hardworking. He treats me like and queen and makes me feel attractive and beautiful even when I am not. I love the way we work together and balance each other out. He is the best person to bounce ideas off of. He reals me in when I am out of hand and grounds me when I am off balance He loves in spite of my weaknesses and never holds back from giving all he has to me at all times. I am more in love than ever with this man. He is my best friend and knows me better than any one else. Thanks Sweetie! I love you!

I also want to pay tribute to our 2 wonderful fathers. Without them, we would not have the same strong values and ideals that we have today. They are both wonderful, loving, giving men who value their families and priesthood and give all they have to us. We love every minute we get with them and are so grateful for all they have given us!

I asked the boys
to tell me some of the reasons why they love dad. Here are their answers: (forgive their shallowness! They are a work in progress!)

Sam:
-He coaches my baseball team
-For taking me & my friends to Bear Lake together
-For taking me camping
-Playing Sports with us
-Daddy does everything (couldn't get any specifics!)
-For helping me with my leg

Cole:
-For taking me and Sam to the Utah games
-By helping us, uh...just by helping us
-For taking me to Bear Lake
-Lets me snuggle him
-For getting us a house
-For letting me go to his softball games 'cause I really like to
-For getting me my new bike

Twins:
-A dada swimmin
-Dada seeping?
-A Ky Ry? Ky Ry come?
-Ohhh. Dada bye bye? No dada here.

2 year old fahionistas!

June has been cold and rainy in Utah! Last week the rain took a break for a minute and the twins wanted to go outside. Reese has already started deciding what clothes she will wear and when. It's a battle I sometimes fight and sometimes choose not to. Bodee will always follow suit and get his version of whatever Reese pulls out of the closet. On this particular day, they looked super cute and fun! It was perfect lighting for picture taking, and I couldn't resist snapping a few photos!

"Maddisee"

We love how Reese says her name: "Maddisee"! Today is her graduation and we are soooooo proud of her! the twins love her and it has been so fun to have her hanging with our crazy! We took some graduation pictures that turned out so cute. Here are the final announcements.

Bo

I love this little face! He had a few little freckles that have come out on his nose and cheeks. They are so cute. I love how he smells. I know that seems weird, but I love it. I hope it never changes!

Buck up, Sam!

It's official! Our first broken body part. Every parent knows it's coming sooner or later. We've been pretty lucky so far, but this is a BIG cast! Sam has been complaining about leg pain for 2 years. We did what most parents do: told him to buck up and quit complaining! Hustle Sam! Well it got really bad during basketball season this year. Then during soccer he was limping all the time. We thought he had shin splints and put some inserts in his shoes. It helped one leg, but he was still limping on the other. Jeff took him into one of the surgeons he works with for an xray. Something was definately up. He had an MRI done the next evening which showed he had a stress fracture. (more photos of the MRI to follow) The next day, BOOM, huge cast from the toes to the hips! They said he had to have it on for 6 weeks. But today it will be 3 weeks old and he is getting it off and wearing a boot instead. Just in time for summer and the swimming pool!
